What is "biblical counseling"?
Biblical counseling occurs when one compassionately ministers the wisdom of God's Word to the life of either an individual, couple, or family. 

Where are you located?
Our offices are located at 24 Church Street in Torrington, CT. 

What are your hours of operation?
We operate on an appointment basis. Please complete our counseling intake process and a staff member will get back to you. If you have questions, please contact us at Info@GraceTorrington.com or call (860) 618-0010. 

What does counseling cost?
We offer counseling free of charge. While counselees may donate to the ministry, this is not expected or required as a condition of counseling. You have no express or implied obligation to pay fees for the counseling you receive through our ministry. Please direct all donations to Northwest Hills Community Church, 342 Prospect St., Torrington, CT 06790 or you may access NHCC's secure e-giving platform here. 

I am not a Christian. May I still receive counsel?
Yes. Grace Biblical Counseling Center offers free counseling to anyone in need. 

What training do your counselors possess?
All of our counselors have completed extensive training, including many hours of classroom training and counseling observation/supervision. Our counselors either have certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors or are supervised by those who do. 

What is Grace Biblical Counseling Center's doctrinal stance?
We affirm both The Confessional Statement of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and the Confession of Faith of Northwest Hills Community Church. 

Legal Information
Grace Biblical Counseling Center is a ministry of Northwest Hills Community Church. Owing to the explicitly theological and inherently religious nature of our counsel, Grace Biblical Counseling Center and its counselors are exempt from state licensure and regulation (Connecticut General Statutes 383c §20-195bb).
